DP BEAUTY ACADEMY TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

Welcome to DP Beauty Academy. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and the booking of training courses offered by DP Beauty Academy.

1. Introduction

 

  • These Terms apply to all courses offered by DP Beauty Academy (“the Academy”).

  • By booking or attending, the Student accepts these Terms in full.

  • The Academy may amend these Terms at any time; the active version at booking applies.


2. Fees, Booking Fee & Payment Policy

 

  • A non-refundable Booking Fee is required to secure a place.

  • It covers administration, preparation, scheduling and reservation of a place.

  • It cannot be transferred to another course/date/person.

  • Remaining balance must be paid on the exact due dates.

  • If paying in installments, each payment MUST be made on the agreed date.

  • Late installment = **10% surcharge on remaining balance** + possible loss of place.

  • All payments are strictly non-refundable for any reason.


3. Course Dates, Group Size & Rescheduling

 

  • Courses run only when minimum group size is met.

  • If not, the Academy may reschedule the course.

  • Students will be transferred to the next available date.

  • Rescheduling does NOT allow refunds or compensation.

  • Refusal to attend a new date does not permit a refund.


4. Student Cancellations, Absence & Rebooking

 

  • If the Student cancels, is late, absent or unable to continue, no refund or free rebooking is provided.

  • Missed content cannot be recovered and may affect certification.

  • Rejoining a future course requires full payment at the current price.

  • Discounts do not apply to rebookings.

5. Participation Requirements

 

The Student agrees to:

  • Attend all sessions **and arrive punctually**.

  • Understand time lost due to lateness cannot be recovered.

  • Wear black clothing or beauty tunic.

  • Practice on colleagues and allow practice on themselves unless contraindicated.

  • Provide models when required.

  • Complete all home study and assignments.

  • Avoid disruptive conversations; training time must remain focused.

  • Ask questions at appropriate times; multiple questions should be noted and addressed later.

Failure to comply may result in non-certification without refund.


6. Conduct & Academy Rules

 

  • Professional behaviour is mandatory.

  • Zero tolerance for disrespect, aggression, racism, harassment, or inappropriate language.

  • **Mobile phones must remain off or silent**.

  • No photos or filming without tutor permission.

  • No eating, smoking or gum during training.

  • No smoking/recording anywhere without explicit permission.

  • Tutors are not allowed to answer administrative questions (payments/bookings/kits). Email admin after training.

  • Disruption of other students is prohibited.

Violation may result in immediate removal with no refund.


7. Media Consent

 

  • Photos/videos may be taken for educational or marketing purposes.

  • Students must inform the Academy in writing before the course if they wish to opt out.

  • Full exclusion from group images cannot be guaranteed.


8. Certification Requirements


Certification is awarded only if the Student:

  • Attends all required sessions.

  • Demonstrates competence.

  • Completes all assignments/case studies.

  • Meets hygiene and professionalism standards.

Certification is NOT guaranteed, and no refunds apply if standards are not met.


9. Certificates Lost, Damaged or Reissued

 

  • Certificates may be issued digitally or physically.

  • Lost/damaged/incorrect certificates requiring reissue incur a **£150 fee**.

  • Processing may take up to 14 working days.

  • Reissue may be denied if course completion cannot be verified.


10. Property, Equipment & Liability

 

  • Students are responsible for all items at their workstation.

  • Missing/damaged items must be paid for before receiving certification.

  • Academy is not responsible for personal belongings.

  • Participation is at the Student's own risk.

  • Academy is not liable for injuries or reactions from treatments.


11. Health, Safety & Hygiene

 

  • Students may be required to bring towels for hygiene purposes.

  • Hands must be washed/sanitised regularly.

  • Hair must be tied back.

  • Jewellery, makeup or nail extensions may need to be removed for safety.

  • Students must participate in mutual practice to gain experience and meet certification requirements.


12. Force Majeure

 

The Academy is not responsible for delays or rescheduling caused by illness, tutor unavailability, weather, strikes, transport issues or emergencies. Courses will be rescheduled; payments remain non-refundable.

13. Website Use

 

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and course materials, is the property of DP Beauty Academy unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute or use website content without prior written permission.

14. Privacy

 

Personal information collected through this website or during course booking is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This may include information required to manage course bookings and certification.

15. Changes to These Terms

 

DP Beauty Academy may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The active version at booking applies.

The latest version will always be published on this website.

17. Final Agreement

 

By booking, the Student confirms they:

  • Agree to all Terms;

  • Understand all payments are non-refundable;

  • Accept the **10% surcharge** for late installment payments;

  • Accept the **£150 certificate reissue fee**;

  • Understand courses may be rescheduled;

  • Agree to follow all Academy rules.
